As the AFIR targets for 2030 advance, Europe will see a surge in charging stations for e-trucks. But installing them is only half the challenge – ensuring they always work is just as crucial. How can true 100% availability be guaranteed?

The Spanish company Charge Room and chargecloud have entered into a strategic agreement to offer a joint solution for the operation of charging stations for electric vehicles on the Iberian Peninsula. This agreement has culminated in the integration of their platforms to launch their first joint commercial EV charging operation, operated under Charge Room and aimed exclusively at the hospitality sector.

One of the largest charging parks at a retail location in Spain will be renewed. To operate the charging site at the Oasiz shopping center in Torrejón de Ardoz near Madrid, Charge Point Operator (CPO) Chargia relies on the e-mobility ecosystem provided by chargecloud. The charge points are fully integrated into the modular SaaS ecosystem and are centrally controlled, monitored, and billed.

The cooperation addresses rising demands for efficiency and service quality in the operation of charging infrastructure. The integration complements existing traditional hotline services, creating a scalable service option for operators.
